El Centro Nacional de Control de Energia

El Centro Nacional de Control de Energía (CENACE) es un organismo público descentralizado cuyo objeto es ejercer el Control Operativo del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional; la Operación del Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista y garantizar imparcialidad en el acceso a la Red Nacional de Transmisión y a las Redes Generales de Distribución. Como Operador Independiente del Sistema realiza sus funciones bajo los principios de eficiencia, transparencia y objetividad, cumpliendo los criterios de calidad, confiabilidad, continuidad, seguridad y sustentabilidad en la operación y control del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional. Realiza la operación del Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista en condiciones que promueven la competencia, eficiencia e imparcialidad, mediante la asignación y despacho óptimos de las Centrales Eléctricas para satisfacer la demanda de energía del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional. The National Energy Control Center (CENACE) is a decentralized public body whose purpose is to exercise Operational Control of the National Electric System; the operation of the Wholesale Electricity Market and guarantee impartiality in access to the National Transmission Network and General Distribution Networks. As an Independent System Operator, it performs its functions under the principles of efficiency, transparency and objectivity, meeting the criteria of quality, reliability, continuity, safety and sustainability in the operation and control of the National Electric System. It carries out the operation of the Wholesale Electricity Market under conditions that promote competition, efficiency and impartiality, through the optimal assignment and dispatch of Power Plants to satisfy the energy demand of the National Electric System.
