Delivering end to end data automation, analytics and business intelligence to Mexico and Latin America’s Deregulated Energy Markets.
Zema PowerGroup Inc. (“Zema”) and Essentia Advisory Partners LLC. (Essentia) are proud to announce a joint marketing agreement whereby Zema will provide its clients a broader range of data by providing access to Essentia’s comprehensive repository of power and gas data for Mexico’s energy markets. Since day one of market opening, Essentia began to aggregate federal power prices across all nodes and power delivery points in Mexico. This proprietary data includes load zone mapping, congestion, and daily settlement prices. With this partnership, licensed Zema users can use this data for valuation and pricing support for ETRM solutions. Users can also leverage Zema’s forward curve builder functionality to consolidate market fundamentals and generate forward curves for their responsive power, natural gas, crude, and refined production.
“This is a solid step in Zema’s aspiration to be a leader in Mexico and other Latin America Energy Markets while capitalizing on this newly deregulated market,” said Aiman El-Ramly, Chief Strategy Officer, Zema. “With Essentia’s strong presence in the Mexico and Latin America it will further strengthen our ability to serve customer’s data automation and analytics needs while enabling both companies to meet strong demand for relevant market data and curve management capabilities,” he continued.
