Zema PowerGroup had already confirmed its ability to import and centralize a wide range of ERCOT Nodal reports long before the nodal market went live on December 1, 2010. Working with the energy consulting firm, Adapt2 Solutions, Zema’s scheduling engine, the Data Manager, was used as the middleware component to Adapt2’s ISO Scheduling and Settlement framework.

<p>The overall service complied with the secure communication protocol developed by ERCOT and allowed for confirmation of each transaction within the clients existing ETRM.</p>

<p>The company was able to be up and running with the full ERCOT Nodal data set at its disposal in a fraction of the time it would have taken to develop it in-house. This collaboration also provided the company with the ability to post and return transactions and settlements data back to their solution.</p>
