SABIC Selects Zema to Support its Analytical and Integration Requirements

Zema PowerGroup Inc. (Zema) is pleased to announce that the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) has selected Zema, Zema’s award-winning enterprise data management solution, to support its business-critical needs in data integration and front office analysis. SABIC, one of the world’s largest petrochemicals manufacturers, is the latest to join the growing list of global organizations to implement Zema.

After a competitive tender process, SABIC selected Zema to meet its business users’ requirements for a fully automated data collection, validation, and auditing tool that will easily integrate up-to-the-minute market data with SABIC’s downstream systems. Using Zema’s advanced analytical and visualization functionalities, end users can manipulate data, recognize evolving market patterns, and easily share their analyses via Zema’s web services layer. SABIC’s implementation will be met using Zema’s subscription services.

Mark Ramakers, Commercial Manager of Feedstock Supply at SABIC, states, “We are confident in Zema’s ability to meet our business requirements. Zema will be supporting a large number of business users through its user-friendly Zema interface and Excel Add-in tool. We’ll be able to easily access data from providers such as ICIS, Argus, Platts, CMAI, and PCI and integrate this data easily with SAP.”
