National Grid Implements Zema Suite Replacing Incumbent Competitive Solution

Richmond, BC, September 20, 2010 − Zema PowerGroup Inc.® is pleased to announce that National Grid http://www.nationalgrid.com/ (LSE: NG.; NYSE:NGG), has implemented its Zema Suite™ enterprise data management software solution to support US energy procurement operations. National Grid is an international energy delivery company and one of the largest investor-owned public utility companies in the world.
National Grid US is using Zema to gain a centralized source of market data to integrate into various strategic decision making tools. In addition, Zema is providing National Grid US with automated analytics and data modeling, as well as a robust interface with National Grid US Risk Management System. The implementation includes several Zema components including: Data Manager, Market Analyzer, Data Validation and Data Direct Excel-Add-In.
