The website provides six-day weather forecasts and information on the actual weather, observed at ground stations. The forecasts are prepared by the Met Office, the United Kingdom, and available on the website under the contract between the Met Office and Raspisaniye Pogodi Ltd. Information on the actual weather comes from the server of international data exchange, NOAA, the United States, in SYNOP and METAR formats. Forecasts are completely updated on the website twice a day: at 05:30 and 17:30 UTC. The latest observational data in SYNOP format is available on the website eight times a day, every three hours: as a rule, by 0:30, 3:30, 6:30 9:30, 12:30, 15:30, 18:30 and 21:30 UTC. The latest observations in METAR format appear on the website once or twice per hour, approximately in 10 minutes after weather observations have been made at the weather station. Currently our website provides weather forecasts for 172'500 locations, as well as observational data, reported from 10'400 SYNOP weather stations, 5'400 METAR weather stations and 250 coastal stations (KH-02 format).
